My treatment focus is centered on the power of a positive therapeutic relationship coupled with research-supported interventions. I believe that good therapy is both research-driven and person-centered. As such, I utilize my training in a variety of evidence-based methods to help people make positive changes in their lives and relationships.
I view therapy as a collaborative process and believe that each person holds unique strengths and assets that can be built upon in therapy to work towards their goals. My hope is to build a genuine connection with you that will allow us to access your personal wisdom and improve the quality of your life.
I have worked with clients across of wide range of presenting concerns in school, outpatient and hospital-based settings. While my experience with adolescents, adults and families is broad, my passion is to help people manage symptoms of anxiety and emotion dysregulation. It is important to me to hold a nonjudgmental, anti-oppressive framework that recognizes identities that have been historically and systemically marginalized. I approach my work with clients in a way that personalizes therapy to fit their needs and identify concrete steps towards resolving problematic behaviors.
I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with you. I hope to hear from you!
